He was a legend. I saw him live in Istanbul in 2013, in the middle of Ramadan month. It was in Gülhane Park, right next to Topkapı Palace. Out of respect for the believers, the sound of the concert was very very low - the quietest concert I've ever heard. The extreme attention of everyone made the music even more touching.
