In the get people Fedi-hired category, my university department has an opening for a senior (research-side) sysadmin where you'll get to do fun things in a dynamic group that's doing stuff at the crossover of chemistry, robotics, and computing. It's sadly not open to remote people, so Toronto only. And you'll be my indirect colleague (not in my group but working closely with us).

@jimsalter It is a pity but especially for this position I see the need; this research group has a lot of very physical stuff to wrangle (I got a tour of one of their lesser lab areas recently). Plus the graduate students and so on are in person, even if apparently everyone chats on Slack.

(And the UofT has sensible reasons for not wanting to have out-of-province employees in the normal course of events, because of payroll tax and withholding complications.)
