Seems they started laying track at the Fehmarn Belt fixed link!
The German side is a bit delayed. Very realistic. They're trying to get away with just a car tunnel ;-)

@sorenhave the same with Madurodam in the Netherlands. Miniature Dam square in Amsterdam is filled with cars, while in the real world only trams, pedestrians and cyclists are allowed. @Pepijn

And disappointedly Madurodum does not have trams there!

The display is designed and constructed by Legoland staff. But I suspect there was a lot of input from the Fehmarn organisation (I think they also did a bit of financial funding, or maybe that's just individual building and dredging companies). I've actually seen random tourists discuss how car focussed some of the display is...

To transportministre åbner kæmpe LEGO-udstilling

Transportministrene Thomas Danielsen og Claus Ruhe Madsen, Slesvig-Holsten, indviede mandag den 23. juni en ny 250 kvm stor udstilling om Danmarks største infrastrukturprojekt i LEGOLAND i Billund. LEGO modellerne i den nye attraktion viser byggeriet af verdens længste sænketunnel – Femern Bælt-tunnelen – og skal inspirere børn og unge gennem leg og læring til at overveje en uddannelse inden for byggefagene.
