Rather than Linux on mobile phone and I am starting think it would make more sense to rethink laptops as smaller foldable devices.

Maybe foldable screens can cause a renewal of the laptop. A device that is more prone to actual creation than the phone.

My problem with having a laptop with me is the general bulk of the object with 10-11” being the minimal reasonable size to use an actual computer.

A 10” 4:3 screen folded in half would be like a very wide iPhone. Not the kind of thing you’d put in your pocket but maybe it should be integrated with the bag itself. Not computer in the bag but a bag that you open to unfold both keyboard and screen.

@santi I've spent my teenage years doing a surprising amount of things on this setup here. The foldable keyboard was particularly nice.

I currently have one of the Samsung foldable boys as my phone, and I keep thinking all it would need is some kind of small keyboard affair to really be a usable terminal when unfolded. I mean the shape of the screen is already very usable for Terminal Business, absolutely.

@mr_daemon @santi I recently bought a Bluetooth adapter for this exact KB to modernise it. I have very fond memories that KB and an iPaq circa 2004.

Haven’t had time to set it up yet mind you! 😂
