Ignorance is bliss sometimes. We did the monthly bird count at the park yesterday. I expect most people would think "ooh, lots of green". But looking in actuality the Himalayan Balsam and Giant Hogweed (both invasive flora) were rampant.

They're so difficult to remove that I wonder if the British biosphere will ever recover from their introduction. But once you see #nature this way, you can't unsee it.

At least we had good 🦆 numbers though.
