@eWalthert Yes, its a great video! So bottom line: there are a few different mechanisms still produced today. However, they are all large, fully mechanically operated (no soft-touch buttons) and without tape selector or dolby. And while they might sound good, an old refurbished sony DD still sounds much better. But I am really happy about this video, it is so well explained : )
