@randulo haven’t been in Manhattan Beach since I arrived a week ago. Perhaps this week :-)
But Manhattan Beach has only remnants of what it was like when you would have lived there, mid-70’s?
Too much money there now.

@daniel I'm trying to remember more details about my early days as a Minneapolis transplant to California. I think I arrived to stay with an aunt in Torrence (!!!) in 1969. I was probably playing in OC and lived in Costa Mesa and as I said briefly in Newport. In 1971 I was already in L.A. playing in Pure Food, early 70s. I can imagine life on the coast has changed everywhere. Venice, too, I've heard.
