@Dj4n90 It's not the voltage, but the total power that matters. I've taken 10 kV across the back of my hand, and it hurt, but I sustained no injury because the amperage was so low. (~0.0009 A) = 9 W.
For reference, the electric chair (execution device) uses ~2 kV, but at ~5 A. = 10 kW (equivalent to a modest city-scale radio station, or well over a thousand running motor vehicles)
A typical electric fence, as used to herd lifestock or deter intruders, is ~7 kV @ 50 - 500 mA (= 350 - 3500 W).
@Stuttgartandi Don't forget Bibi, one of today's most brutal authoritarians. Trump, Bibi, and Putin between them have likely killed or impoverished more people than all the rest put together.
Putin at least does not have to share blame with a democratic electorate, but the others do. (We in the US are also to blame, as we have had the power to stop this all along, but have not done so.)
