Important reminder that the following thoughts are not typical in cisgender cisspecies human men:

- I wish I woke up as a catgirl.
- Human feet are so weird and ugly. Why can't humans have digitigrade paws?
- In my horny thoughts I like to imagine myself as the girl.
- Shaving is fucking annoying but I hate having a beard even more, I'd rather pour acid in my face than have to shave ever again.
- Human ears are so weird and ugly. Why can't humans have cat ears?
- If I found a genie offering me three wishes, my first one would be to get transformed into a catgirl. And then I would be out of ideas.
- Male-typical human genitals are so weird and ugly. Why can't I have female-typical genitals?
- I'm jealous of the female orgasm. Very jealous. Much more fun and much less mess.
- Puberty ruined my voice.
- Why can't humans have soft smooth feline fur? Or at least hairless skin?
- I hate my assigned name. What's the point of legal name changes being so fucking hard in my country?
- I imagine my soul as a catgirl.
- I spend a lot of time imagining scenarios of being transformed into a catgirl.

These might be symptoms of gender dysphoria and/or species dysphoria. You might be entitled to estrogen and surgeries. DM for further advice.

It's like saying "it is what it is"

Like, imagine you slab a truck into a telephone pole and there is a lot of damage (damage that obviously cannot be buffed out) you might say "nah, it'll buff" and just keep going

I guess the exact meaning changes a bit based on context but basically it's a humorous way of saying you are right and I see that but I'm ignoring the problem for the time being

Ignoring the more practical considerations (like knowing how to work the body, and friends, and the life I have established for myself)
Maybe a girl, maybe a cat, cat person, dragon, crab, oh protogens are cool af. Idk
I guess if the wand has unlimited uses I'd just change my form to fit the situation.

I used to think gay people and/or trans people where illogical, I'd never hold it against them that not my way. But why have sex of it can't make kids. Why pretend to be a gender your not.

Now, I'm definitely not straight, and probably not cis and I see where that logic fails.

I still feel the same way about theirans. Again would never hold it against anyone, if you want to be called a cat or dragon what's it to me, lol (none of my business).

But still, why pretend to be something you aren't: you can't actually be a dragon, they don't exist. You can't actually be a cat boy, your DNA says otherwise.

Same thoughts I had about gay people before I admitted I liked men.
Same thoughts I had about trans people before I admitted I was a bit of a girl.

Means I'm probably missing part of the point here.

@spycrab Assuming that human society stopped being shitty (fascism, queerphobia…) and started funding the necessary science for full body modifications and species transitions (prosthetic body parts with direct neural connection, full genetic engineering), it's not even unrealistic anymore. Optimistically, this could happen 15-20 years from now.

Considering this, what shape would you modify your body into, if this tech hypothetically became available (and free or affordable) tomorrow? Maybe even a meltcat? (meltcat "lore" here: https://void.lgbt/notice/B4O4FXHdiGfW1hLgrQ )

Hummm; id probably mostly add stuff to help me in my day to day life. I really like the idea of expanding my senses (more eyes in the IR and UV ranges. Maybe a small gamma ray telescope, that sort of stuff.) id probably experiment with my genitals and maybe some cute feature near my face (cat ears, whiskers) but at the end of the day I'd probably either end up looking like a tech priest from Warhammer or mostly like my current self (with some more feminine features)
