@arstechnica cynical take is most of these people want is these data centres not to be built in their backyard and built in areas where "undesirables" live knowing very well that those people don't have time, resources or representation to fight it. They will stop all these "protests" and "not voting for GOP" as long as corporations move plans to the right part of their towns. This is no different to & just a replay of the right wingers fighting for "free speech".
