Fizz is about 8 months old now and today I noticed an expected change in his coat that a male puberty causes. He's gone from being ultra soft to having a little more roughness in his texture. He's still very strokable and largely happy for me to stroke him so I'm not complaining.

While their such short lives can feel a curse, getting to see them develop and grow into themselves, and then chill out as they eventually retire is also kinda lovely.
