@pekkavaa I wonder what happens if you put that as pbr textures on a cube.
@NafiTheBear Textured cubes can work better than you'd expect, at least in film VFX. For example in the first Matrix film, the subway station (neo vs smith duel) is like a few dozen polygons and projected photo textures on them. Still very convincing.
@pekkavaa Oh I know that, but would be cool if your images would cause the expected results from a PBR.

@babble_endanger In fact, I tried to enhance aliasing a bit by downscaling the photo by half with a nearest neighbor filter. I learned this realtime CG look emulation trick in a video by Timothy Lottes.
