The ACM Policy on Authorship was recently updated with respect to AI. The policy:
* No longer requires disclosing that AI was used in authoring paper text.
* Re-emphasizes that authors take full responsibility for the content and writing of the paper, regardless of tools used.
* States that LLM use when conducting the research must be described as part of the ordinary requirement to disclose research methods.

@JonathanAldrich For Onward!, for which you are listed as SC member, I reviewed obvious slop.

If we don't do something about it, it will break all the good things we are trying to achieve with venue like Onward!.

I wish we could bar authors that abuse the system from submitting for a while.

@smarr Can you just do that? Thinking creatively: if an author submits 2 or more papers that are so bad they waste reviewer time, the next year they can submit at most 1 paper. Would that resolve the issue?
