Hmm, I might have to look into adding #TheTooPerfectSaint to my reading list, since I doubt it will ever get the second season it so richly deserves (see also #RocketGirls and #MoretsuPirates for other series so rudely robbed of their just rewards).
CHORTLE. The head of the local church is wearing a silly party hat and hosting a lavish welcome party for Philia.
Philia’s internal dialogue at this point: WAT? Seriously WAT?
Philia, being Philia, asks “what are my duties today” and is immediately told to “enjoy herself at the welcome party.
Philia: WAT?! DOES NOT COMPUTE.
Also, Philia has adoring fan girls now.
Philia: DOES NOT COMPUTE.
Me: CHORTLE.
Prince Osvalt, the second Prince of Parnacorta, is adorkable.
He’s such an enthusiastic puppy. His older brother, Reichardt is more restrained but as I recall also a fundamentally decent sort.
IT’S THE BATTLE MAID AND BUTLER!! These two are hilarious, and Philia does NOT know how to deal with actually being looked after…

CHORTLE. Bit of a typo in the subtitle here, I suspect that it’s supposed to be “Why is she acting like she’s never HEARD of it before?!” (which is Lena’s natural reaction I think to Philia’s flat and slightly confused reaction to the concept of “time off”).
Leonardo and Lena have been discussing Philia and Lena definitely has an opinion at this point.

One of Lena’s next lines is “So I’m going to see to her every need and really pamper her!”

Meanwhile, Mia is keenly aware that Philia would NOT leave Girtonia voluntarily WITHOUT doing a proper briefing/handover of her duties TO Mia.
Since that didn’t happen, Mia is ALREADY suspicious that there is something rotten in the state of Girtonia, to borrow a phrase from the Bard.
And is already promising vengeance for it.
