Whenever I see posts like these, which seem like obvious rage-bait, I look for the blue checkmark. Since Elmo is paying assholes for posts that get enough "engagement", the presence of that checkmark is like an "oh, that's why: engagement-farming". I wonder if "Bill" is someone in an impoverished country, engagment-farming for the pittance that goes a lot further in that country than it does mine.
