Do you folks who have thousands of followers have most of your posts get shared out several hundred times or is that still a rarity for you as well? How do you keep up?! I tried to answer everyone and I’m pretty sure I still missed at least a few hundred people. I finally had to mute my own post so I could reply to people without the feed scrolling away from me.

I love this weird little ecosystem we have here though. What I wrote above is not a gripe, it’s kind of thrilling honestly. A random post about a random thing I’m thinking about went so far and even though some folks didn’t agree with my advice, on average it seemed like it helped more than a few people. I love that.

I think I need to do more helping people. Even when it’s just frivolous things like finding a TV that doesn’t suck, it feels good to have someone say that I helped them even in a tiny way.

@davidbcohen Not really, just genuinely curious how the more popular accounts here navigate that if at all. I’ve only ever had a handful of posts blow up so I was always curious if as a person gets followers numbering in the thousands if every post you make ends up getting shared and commented hundreds of times or if it’s also a rarity for folks like that.
@monkeyninja I was kidding πŸ˜‰
