Doug and The Slugs were a staple of the Vancouver music scene in the 1980s, playing fun rock and power pop. This was their most successful album, reaching to 22 on the Canadian album charts and spawning two Top 30 Canadian singles. Ritdong was a label formed by leader Doug Bennett as way to control the band's music. Bennett was also a graphic designer and did the cover art.
