@TechBean To be clear, though, this has been a war since the 1970s. Never believe anything any one side says otherwise. Iran has had clear objectives and stated them loudly and proudly for a long time. America has had objectives that have been at the forefront of policy for a long time. Anyone who told you that America and Iran were ever in a state of peace while the Islamic Republic could stand was lying to you.

P.S. ~ I agree Congress should be making wartime declarations but this hasn’t been true since Vietnam. Congress has allowed this just like all of the other wars started without official prior authorization.
