Apartment serfs, is the ac being out worth an emergency repair request? Or will they tell me to go fuck myself?

I'm happy to be told to go fuck; but it's be cool to have air conditioning. (I think it's a freon leak)

Worse comes to worse... portable air conditioner??

@Wetstew Yes, it is. It can cause property damage if it's out in the right weather conditions, so generally it's considered an emergency.

@Wetstew look at your local laws, but depending on temperature, HVAC is often considered a critical thing and tenants' rights ordinances require it to be repaired in very quick order as it can pose a hazard to life safety

@dank update! They fixed it.

Called my apartment's emergency line. Apparently if it's 80F+ and during the day they'll come out to fix it in off hours.

I'm in Texas, lax renter's right but a shit climate evens out :p
