JulieAnd it's Beethoven 9th Symphony for number 1 - choral. I'd been out this afternoon and driving home Handel's Messiah was on and I thought yes, # 1, but no, # 5. I'm not a believer in sky fairies but I just love the Messiah. Oh well! #ABCClassic100

The Messiah is one piece I prefer hearing as a community piece.
There's a sing your own Messiah at Collins St church behind the Melbourne town hall each Christmas. I try to get along although I can't read music and have no idea what my range is
