@paninid It amazes me that the Southern White working class has never connected the dots and realized that slavery was an attack on the value of their labour and economic power as well as being a crime against humanity.
@raganwald@paninid Bacon’s Rebellion is proof of this. The indentured servants rebelled and the elites refocused on slaves because they were easier to control.
