**Utah Physicians for a Healthy Environment** is joining health professionals and community partners in opposing a proposed #ICE detention facility in Salt Lake City.

A proposed facility housing up to 10,000 detainees, along with thousands of additional employees, would place enormous demands on local infrastructure and resources.

It would also increase wastewater pollution and add contaminants that ultimately contribute to toxic dust from the Great Salt Lake bed.
