I'm not getting my two #dipPens to cooperate with the dropper bottle very well. Might be #userError.

Half the big drops on the paper are from the wooden dipper. That one works okay for a sentence but often drips a big blob in the middle of a letter.

My solution thus far is to take an empty converter, siphon directly from the bottle, then pour hot water into it and siphon a few drops of water that spilt onto my hand. Shake it up, rinse the nib, after a few scratches it's working.

I think this is an Extra Fine point so, YMMV.

Next time I'll siphon water first or try directly from a glass jar instead of pouring from a tea kettle. lol

#fountainPen

What's cool is that the ink is bearly visible at first. Once it dries, the silver really comes through.

Silly me accidentally began filling this with dark red fountain pen ink a few days ago then immediately stopped because it was the wrong converter. Obviously, it still got a few drops.

Another note:
I didn't measure. This converter is too long for the pen. No matter, the body screws and holds just fine when writing. Might even call it extra fine.

Now with a little more water, scooped in from the drip pen nib and dark green ink directly suctioned from the other converter! Give it a wipe with a wet napkin, a good shake, and after a few scratches I think I'm content with this.

It definitely takes a bit of experimentation and might be a good idea to rinse the nib as soon as the writing session is over. The ink in the bottle looks white but, on paper it's all glitter. lol. Would be better with a very broad point.

This is why the professionals with the laboratories measure ratios then sell the final solution. 😝

Might order some large mouth dip pen inks in a few weeks.
