Night before last, the military conducted "training" in Long Beach in the middle of the night, and only sent out a text to warn residents at 10pm. They set off explosions and played with gunfire sounds and invaded a mall.
In September, Trump said he would do this. He said he would do it to prepare for going to war with Blue cities.
And now he has done it. Now he has indicated that war with blue cities is imminent. It's the only conclusion to be drawn, because that's what he said, and (2)
and because there would literally be no other reason to practice invading a Long Beach mall.
Gavin Newsom has said NOTHING about it. But yesterday, he did post this. From fucking Long Beach.
We have to understand something very fucking real: If he said this about a foreign country, and then did a "training" exercise right in one of their major cities, it would be an act of war, because it is. The federal government is definitively at war with the citizens. This is not ICE. This is the military.

I have a family member in Long Beach who turned me onto this happening--I haven't seen it in the news. I'm not on Instagram, but she is, and you can see a first hand account here (In the upper right corner you can go to the website without getting the app)
Now, here's the thing: Obviously, we don't know when they'll decide to take the next step and have the military attack the citizens. My guess is they'll do something so outrageous there will be no choice but to take to the streets, at which point the military will be called in, and an actual bloody war is upon us.
The citizens have to start organizing a response NOW. Every neighborhood, town, city needs to have people who will spring into action--and they need to know what action & what trigger
Trump is already making things muddy for the upcoming election in November. This can't be counted on. Not at all. In fact, I would expect us to not make it through the summer without something happening, what with the food shortage. But I would guess that election is their deadline for a true fascist takeover, wherein there's no doubt that there is nothing we can do.
We have to get in control before that.
A safe, secure meeting space is called for. And I know it sounds strange, but I would find a sympathetic church if possible. There are a lot of Christians who hate what's happening, too, and while it's obviously not failsafe, it's at least a private place to meet.
We need a zine network.
We need community gardens that can help feed the people.
We need people who can fight. We need people who can spy. We need people who can transport.
