Just yesterday read about Winifred Wagner (on first name basis with Hitler since 1925, NSDAP member since 1926) who still talked about her friendship with Hitler and that she would welcome him in 1975.

In May 1945, Klaus Mann wrote that she was the only honest one he met in Germany.
