NelsonDoes anyone have a PO box (in the US)? How much of a problem is spam? Would I need to check it constantly to avoid it filling with junk mail, or rent a larger one to account for junk?
Radio Free Society 🗼 🏳️🌈@skyfaller Last time I had one, about ten years ago, I didn’t really have much of a spam problem. You don’t get a lot of the same things you’d get in your home delivery.
shom@skyfaller I had a box for several months when my meal box was run over. I would collect mail every two to four weeks. It was packed but fine.

ash 🍃✨@skyfaller I have a tiny one as a return address for my zines and for my domains’ contact info, and I don’t get anything! I have the USPS’ Informed Delivery service on it so I don’t have to physically go check it until I know I’ve gotten something.
@8ofpentacles zines are exactly the application I had in mind! How are your zines doing? Do people in fact send you mail about your zines?
@skyfaller hahaha they don’t! I mostly end up getting cute emails or Instagram messages after people receive them. They’re doing decently though and I love assembling and sending them!
Olivier Forget@skyfaller I have had one for years. Spam no issue. Just mail for previous box owners, that's all. You can leave it for a few weeks no prob. At least for me. I have the smallest one.
