The motion sensor in my joycons refuses to behave normally. I'm trying to play Super Mario Galaxy which I borrowed today from a friend, and the joycon keeps thinking it is pointing 90° to the left of my TV.

Is there any way to reset it in-game so it knows that forward is... Well, forward. I can't play the game pointing to the wall all the time.

Edit: Actually the game explains it a few minutes later... You just need to press R to reset it. 🤦

@hk I thought the R button reset it so the current position is the centre of the screen?

@splendid_alex Yeah, it's as simple as that... They explain it a few minutes into the game, instead of doing it just from the start 🤦‍♂️

@hk Ah i played it on the All stars version before getting the recent rerelease so i just remembered it from there. It drifts quite badly or possibly i cant sit still for long so i have to reset it a lot. Anyway enjoy! Both Galaxy games are great!
