6 Stunden Regen und offene Türen: Allein als Frau durch Wales | Bikepacking mit Hund #3

Wales Cycling Trip 2021 · Episode 3: Wales Tells Its Story

After the magical sunset at Newborough Beach, I wake up to find Wales suddenly showing a completely different side: gray, wet, and very rainy.
🌧️

Zuri and I set off for the place with the famously long name on Anglesey. We've barely arrived when it starts to rain—and doesn't stop for hours. Luckily, we find a small local café that welcomes dogs. There, I hear about a house in the middle of the river where, at high tide, the water simply flows through the ground floor. Wales sometimes tells stories you could hardly make up.

When the rain finally lets up, we continue on to the Llŷn Peninsula. The scenery is beautiful, but the hills are quite challenging with a fully loaded bike and dog trailer. That evening, we land in a small village—and once again, a door opens: Owen, who runs the local pub, spontaneously offers me a place to sleep behind the pub.....
