Today marks 2 years totally #sober for me in my recovery from multiple substance addiction!

Getting here was a process. I quit alcohol, benzos, and opiates 8 years ago; amphetamines, party drugs, cocaine, and hallucinogens/psychedelics 4 years ago; and finally quit my final vice, cannabis 2 years ago now.

I am forever grateful for my solid support structure in my family (both biological and polyamorous) and friends, who have been there for me through some wild and horrid times.

@Nephilim Congratulations!πŸŽ‰
@Drub thank you! Feels good. Real good.
@Nephilim I’ve got over 10 months! πŸ’•βœ¨
@Drub fuck yes! Congrats!
@Nephilim Thanks! I have room for so many other things. It’s pretty freeing!
@Drub for real! It is amazing how much active addiction restricts us in our lives and personal growth. I never would have been able to accomplish what I have in the last 2 years if I were still chained to my vices and using.
@Nephilim Beautifully put!
@Nephilim congratulations and happy birthday. 2 years is so small feat.
@sentimentaldom thank you! Time has flown by, and sobriety has been stellar. I vastly prefer to rawdog life and not have my days dictated by my addictions.
@Nephilim wait 'til you hit 30 years! Time truly does fly.
