AOL trial disks were not the only way the web was brought to the masses during the 1990's.
Some chose instead to physically deliver a slice of the web in the form of a CD-ROM.
These "internet CDs" offer a glimpse into the early web that can't be found even in the Wayback Machine.
Archive95 is an effort to track down and consolidate these CDs, as well as other obscure data troves, into a unified web archive experience.
