I didn't see blanket media coverage of this yesterday, or any handwringing press releases from the government 🤔 😡

On Thursday night in Birmingham, a car was set on fire outside the family home of prominent anti-racist peace campaigner Salma Yaqoob.

This reminds me of the arson attacks on immigrant restaurants in England in the 1970s. All the culprits were not caught and jailed for that either and those that were received very lenient sentencing. The leadership class, through their shirking of duty, has left the wrangling and herding of dangerous human animals to us, the public.

@Kruku There are so many similarities between our current timeline and what happened in the 70s (and the 30s for that matter). It's easy to blame Fartage and his sponsors - and of course he bears a significant amount of the blame - but the passivity and outright collusion of the political and media class can never be overstated.
@MiaMarkTwo
The leadership class take money and favours for corrupting our government to suit oligarchs but do not understand allowing their rich friend's hirelings to run amok in our government shows them to be complicit. Which is the same reason UK oligarchs & its pet politicians shit themselves at the end of WWII and agreed to a 80% tax on the rich & corporations rather than risk a revolution.
