In his first 150 days, Mayor Mamdani has:
- closed a $12B deficit
- collected $9M in unpaid fines from Bezos
- recovered $5M in stolen wages for gig workers
- raised minimum wage to $30/hr
- drove violent crime to record lows
- marched for trans rights
I don't ever want to hear an excuse from a single Democrat ever again. Turns out the "radical leftist agenda" is just competent representation.
Mamdani's a light in the darkness for sure.
Crazy hysterical language from the media though, up until Reagan what today's media call radical leftism would have been seen as fairly mainstream centrism in the 1970s. We're seeing the same media hysteria in the UK against the leader of our resurgent Green Party.

A few years ago, my started-voting-in-the-1960s Republican mom wondered how she ever raised a Democrat daughter. I rolled my eyes and said that the way things were going, I'd be a socialist in not too long.
