Alice Averlong🏳️⚧️This train has probably already sailed, but I'd really like it if there was a separate term for "emoji" (as in little graphics with defined meanings in the unicode standard) and "emoji" (as in server-specific custom icons users can use on discord/mastodon/twitch/etc)
turmoni@foone etymologically speaking, I think anything that's a picture that you can embed in a string of text should count as just plain emoji, so the unicode one should be the one to have a more specific definition
