R1 through R9 cars (known collectively as "arnines" or R1/9s) operated in the #NYCSubway system from 1930 to 1977. D-Type cars were in service between 1925 and 1965 and were the first cars to feature an articulated design.
It's all happening this weekend, Saturday June 6 and Sunday, June 7 from 11am-4pm. Join us to ride the rails in historic style for just the cost of your regular subway fare! In addition to the Tri-Nine, Parade of Trains will also feature BU Gate Cars and BMT Standard cars.
Parade of Trains happens at the Brighton Beach station (B/Q platforms) and Kings Highway station (Manhattan-bound B/Q platform). Hop on and off vintage favorites maintained and operated by MTA New York City Transit. Don’t miss your chance to step aboard these time-traveling treasures!
