Me and my mom swapped dogs today! She walked Sjiriki while I took Maya on a walk. Sjiriki has pretty bad separation anxiety where he specifically doesn’t tolerate being away from me, and other people being home with him doesn’t really make a difference. One of the things he does tolerate is going on a walk with someone else, so we’re going to practice doing that more! With the hope that getting more used to it builds comfort with being away from me, which we can then slowly start to transfer to being comfortable in the house with other people. Fingers crossed! 🤞
Meanwhile I get to go on walks with just Maya which is nice, she’s such a sweet little dog 💖
