@philpem Another embedded dev fur :D yay.

@philpem

embedded programming is the future 💪

@philpem

Keysight Technologies has a significant product dev group in Leeds; I don't know if the teams there are hiring, but nearly everything you list sounds broadly relevant to what they do.

They also have quite decent HR policies on diversity and equity, Pride, gender recognition, &c.

If you do apply there, it may help to reference your experience/knowledge in areas like RF and protocol analysis, and possibly to quickly brush up on C#/Mono.

I'll link if I can find one.

@philpem

Really sorry, I may have misremembered - I would swear they had something there, but not listing any openings near Leeds.

But here's a link to look over. Some claim remote work OK.

@CliftonR I think they had one through an acquisition but might have shuttered it. A lot of embedded companies up this way have gone that way sadly.

Sadly doesn't look like they have much my skills could apply to but I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks.

@philpem https://oxide.computer/careers I think they have couple of people in the uk already

@philpem Your profile sounds a lot like what Vaillaint Group was looking for when I was there. Unfortunately, they don't offer anything suitable in the UK at the moment.

I worked there for a few months but quit because I found the environment too bureaucratic. Classic large corporation, not a lot of creativity.

Anyways, good luck finding something.🤞🏻

(I hate to admit it, but I found both this and my current job through LinkedIn.)

@philpem if I had the budget and permission to hire folks, in a god damn heartbeat.
