I was thinking yesterday about older Monster Hunter titles. Tri on the Wii was my first one and while I prefer some of the newer ones (MH Rise my beloved) I always look back on Tri fondly.
Lagiacrus is the coolest.

@drheyzeus

Tri was my first game, but i didn't get really into it until 4U.

Whilst I like Rise for how accessible it is for newcomers, Generations will always be my personal favourite Monster Hunter game.

Lagiacrus is very much a top tier monster for me, so great choice there!

@ishambard I hear great things about Generations but I arrived to the 3DS late and all of my MonHun friends had moved on.
We talk about going back to the Switch port though, that could be exciting.
@drheyzeus The Monster Hunter games have some solid music. Very cool choice to share!
@mdmrn I picked this one specifically because I used to use it often in D&D games as a "friendly NPC" or "friendly village" track.
@drheyzeus my first was Monster Hunter Rise. I love that game. I started now playing an older game. Monster Hunter Ultimate Generations. It is a bit complicated to get accustomed to it. But the game itself is fun. The improvement of the menu and the game flow in Monster Hunter Rise though is something I see as big advantage to lure in newer players like myself.

@drheyzeus I never played Tri, but the mini uragaan music has stayed with me.
