FYI, that is a 90 minute delay, which they announced ≈4 hours before the boarding time. I got the first delay-announcement text (a paltry 30m slip) seven hours before the original departure time....

@n8 ATC limits the slots for landing, and even some transit routes based on various factors. Y'all got bumped. Airlines schedule based on assuming they'll get slots (and mostly they're right) bit if there's weather or someone calls in sick, they change.
