Oh my god, #Librewolf seriously by default deletes all cookies upon closing the browser (thereby logging you out of everything completely)? I get it, security and all, but this unexpected default will screw over every single user at the beginning.
@Natanox it's one of the reasons I switched from LibreWolf to Vivaldi as my default browser (also some sites play a bit better with Vivaldi than LibreWolf)
@lmgenealogy I mean if you want that, but it would drive me insane logging back in into every single website every day. Would take at least 15 minutes each day, that's just wasted time in my book.
@Natanox I usually have my browser open while I'm using the websites, so that's less of a problem for me. I wonder if there's a way you can 'un-set' it?
@Natanox to me that's one of the reasons I switched to librewolf. Deletes everything after closing. You can define exceptions pretty easily so I set up ones for the sites I frequently use and the rest vanishes when I close my window :)
@Natanox That'll stop some people from using it. If LibreWolf wants to keep the default, a little warning pop up that includes a button to go to the right place in settings would be better UX. Even if that was just a "first use" pop up. Worth requesting if you are a LibreWolf fan.
