Joe and STOAnnounced a few days ago, the Summer Event's buyout in #StarTrekOnline is being done with Dilithium ("multiple millions") rather than Lobi.
The backlog so far has only increased, now up to 12,505,178 backlogged Zen (~$125,051.78 USD equivalent at 100 Zen = $1 USD).
