I suppose I should document making my pajama pants, rather than just making them. 🤔
(pattern I purchased for $2 at the thrift store is BRAND NEW. Will not cut it, will trace it) #sewing

Okay, got the pockets attached, and sewed the two legs together.
Before I forget, the two lessons:
1. Do not sew the inside leg together before pockets. Had to pull them apart!
2. Mark the pocket location with something besides chalk. it all rubbed off, no idea where they are supposed to go, just stuck them where I wanted.
Anyway, no photos yet, but top of the pants have about 6 inches too wide of a waist, lol. They are pajamas, so loose is good... but that might be too lose. ON THE OTHER HAND, I can do hand to hand martial arts in these. OR, I could film a music video. The bottoms are wide as bell bottoms, too, ha ha ha.

@ai6yr
You can hear the accordion on the commando one though
We’ll have to program that one on #AccordionNoir radio 📻
I think the “commando” 🚫🩲 usage dates to Vietnam so must have been something else as the flip side of the Navy-targeted Bellbottom disk in 1945
Here’s a bio of the band leader Brunen Kryger who had fought for Poland in the First World War before emigrating to the US

it is a very old song theme …

pre-code 🤣
Oscar Brand was a famous collector of such historic folksongs 😊
Our folk music traditions are not alone in suffering this present-day and relatively newly imposed sex-phobic puritan paranoiac censorship. Apparently even the curators of Antiquities somehow believe their parents never had sex, and grandparents definitely not 🤣

"bell bottom blues" - derek and the dominoes
@ai6yr @paul_ipv6
The Boswell Sisters one is even a V Disk from late in the run before they shut down after the war
They’re pretty rare because they were ordered destroyed in 1949 and somebody even went to jail for trying to hoard some 😨

A bunch turned up on a base in Tacoma in a storage closet in the 1990s and some guy figured they said to trash them so…
@ai6yr @paul_ipv6
Yes!
Consult the @internetarchive maybe?
@ai6yr @paul_ipv6 @internetarchive
I think there’s ones that are known to have been made, but no know copies, like lost films
But I’m no expert
