I'm going to need to ask whoever is in charge of THE GODDAMN INTERNET to acknowledge that reducing motion is an actual accessibility thing and not something they can just disregard because they desperately need to feed off the "Oh look a shiny!" tendencies of the lowest common denominator. My job will not let me change the default search in Chrome from Google, sometimes I need to use Chrome at work for compatibility reasons, and that fucking LOOK AT OUR SHINY AI, PLEASE TOUCH IT animation in the search bar makes me lowkey nauseous.
Also once again I am feeling like the deaf person in one of those stories where a crew finds a sole survivor of some horrible event and it turns out there's a sound that makes everyone go batshit that they were immune to.
@trixter You're the child with the bad leg that gets left behind after the AI'd Piper lures all the others into the data center to be burnt for fuel
@trixter I think I'm gonna borrow this, because saying "I feel like Cassandra" just isn't strong enough a phrase anymore.
@Elindur Yeah, it's not even just that nobody is listening, it's that I feel instinctively repelled by things that apparently most people find instinctively attractive.
