BobDevneyWeird request: any ideas for a small window prop? Need some kind of bar about 7 inches (17.8 cm) long, maybe 1 inch cross-section. (Ideally length adjustable; but not vital.)
I'm installing a bedroom air conditioner—in a vinyl window. Don't trust screws in vinyl.
With AC in, the window I want to "lock" down on the AC has about 7 inches clear for a prop above. Most people use wood; any other ideas? Online has multi adjustable window security bars: all too long.
