I need to make #Ableton run on #Linux. Does anyone here currently do so please? I need to pick your brains!

@MattMoose There is a useful blog piece on running Ableton Live on Linux on linuxvox.com

Thankyou my friend! Added to research list. Best regards.
@MattMoose I will keep looking around - I have an interest in this kind of thing, anyway
@robchapman
Much obliged, no worries.
Flushing microsoft for good will be great.
I just want to make music, not be spied on and degraded too! Lol
@MattMoose I've used Linux for as my sole OS for as long as I have been out of the UK, before that I had a dual boot system, windows 7 and Mepis (now defunct) which became MX Linux, which is what I use now.
I've also been using LMMS (some learning is required, but not that much I don't think) frequently gets knocked - but its free digital audio workstation, so I never understand why some people get so sniffy about it - I mean before that I used use Audacity
@robchapman Oh that's cool then, very similar choice of OS and audio apps here. I got into LMMS to see if it could do as much as Ableton, whose editing I like... LMMS is a bit clunkier but gets many jobs done... nearly finished one dance track so far. Ardour seems to be catching up with Ableton's clip launching facility. At the end of the day, I just want to produce music that uplifts the listener 💃
