Turns out my #Lenovo #M920Q tiny PC has only one memory slot populated with 16G of DDR4 RAM… That means I don’t have to buy a new set of sticks. I can just get 1 stick of 16G and I’m golden!🥰

A stick of RAM has been ordered! 32G should be more than enough, so I can run a few more VMs and containers.

I also feel like I need to repaste the CPU, as it's idling at 50°C and I could hear the fan yesterday...

I should get that stick of RAM tomorrow. In the meantime, I have redone thermal paste on the CPU of my #Lenovo #Thinkcentre #Proxmox server with #ThermalGrizzly. It has done nothing to improve it…🫠

It now almost feels like there’s to much RAM…🤡 Simple job. Power down, disassemble, put stick in, put machine together with just one screw. #Lenovo #Thinkcentre #Proxmox
