Today's #WTF moment is brought to you by trying to figure out why 404 pages in my #homeLab coming via a reverse proxy were all mangled and weird. I've tried every combination of gzip on and off, headers, encoding on the #nginx proxy and backend.

Then I check the actual 404.html page. I have no idea how that happened.

@je maybe, it was like that in my local folder, and what I uploaded to the server, so it must have happened on my laptop first and I didn't notice. I probably fat fingered some redirect or tar command.
