Fig. 1: Lab Equipment of the Ancient Gods

#antiqueTech

This came from my dad's lab in the Duke psychology department (the old location off Flowers Drive, looking over the lower lake at Duke Gardens) -- I remember it being under a table to the right of the door (as you come in) with a bunch of other equipment, including something with at least one Nixie tube, in the early 70s and possibly as late as the early 80s although I'm pretty sure it was no longer being used by then.

I have two of them; this one has obviously been customized a bit.

(I think "UG", on the red Dymo label, must stand for "undergraduate".)

@woozle Seems like the kind of thing https://www.youtube.com/@MrCarlsonsLab might appreciate... especially if you've got two. (You know, in case you wish to re-home it... fine if you don't, too!)

Electronic "how to's," and random project descriptions.

@lindes Any idea where he is, geographically? The shipping on these would be an absolute beast...

(Edit: looks like he's in Canada. I could imagine delivering these, on some hypothetical future day when I have a passport again and can reasonably trust US border agents.)
