This doesn't mean plant them willy-nilly, but that a good, healthy tree in the right place has a *massive* positive benefit. Yay learning!

and a friendly reminder that mechanical air conditioners make things HOTTER overall, so see what you can do in your community to focus on other ways to stay cool. There are so many. (Cutting back on total energy use (rejecting data centers), conserving natural areas, growing the tree canopy in developed areas, building with green/eco-roofs in mind...) And we've got to think beyond our present moment.

As always, big thanks to our indigenous siblings who are doing the best job with what they have to care for our only home. I owe a lot to your teaching. Let's get this #LandBack to regenerating. Let's all respect other beings - if only to recognize we are all connected and that care benefits everyone.
