I'm not overly fond of the voidy feeling I get after completing a lengthy playthrough (in this case #MassEffect trilogy), and not being able to settle on what to play next.
Btw, my favourite #MassEffect #Romance is Specialist Samantha Traynor. I'm aware that this likely puts me in the minority because she's only available in ME3, not a team member, and also exclusively lesbian.
@thatfrisiangirlish May I recommend the excellent Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West? I've long believed the Mass Effect series to be best video game series of all time, and it's only since playing the Horizon games that I feel Mass Effect is the SECOND best video game series of all time. :) (Of course, just a personal opinion)
@Nephrite Thanks for the tip, have seen my wife play Horizon Zero Dawn already, but it doesn't seem to be quite my game? Although that seems pretty difficult to define, anyway. Mass Effect, for example, feels good to play to me, because it comes with some pretty heavy decisions (out of the box and I can add on and make them heavy as lead with mods).
@thatfrisiangirlish I actually don't know if there are any expansive mods for Horizon, but you don't get a lot of real choices in Horizon that change anything relevant about the plot. HOWEVER I would definetely describe the actual plot as very heavy. Harrowing in places, even. Definitely had a few "oh my god" moments near the end of Zero Dawn and again in Forbidden West. Best to go in unspoilered about the end though.
