Ah… there’s nothing like downloading a NEW DOS demo via mtcp ftp. Works beautifully, albeit a LITTLE bit slow.

@root42 What kind of hardware it runs on here? It was really smooth on my Cyrix 486DX4/120 with a PCI S3 + GUS. Allegedly, a 486SX would be enough for it?

@chainq 486SX 25 with ISA. I think VLB or PCI would make a huge difference.

@chainq and a DX4/120 is AT LEAST 4x faster. :)
I bet if I plopped a DX2 in there, performance would already double. And a GUS would help, too. But this is my little minimal 486 system! With spinning rust!
